Cooperation perfectly fits in with the “Premium Styling by Vredestein“ concept
On Monday 11 January 2010, the new cooperation between tyre manufacturer Vredestein and motor vehicle manufacturer Carlsson was announced. "In Carlsson we now have a strong partner in the field of premium styling", managing director Michael Lutz for Vredestein Germany is delighted to report as he announced the launch of the collaboration. “Carlsson is one of the best car tuning manufacturers anywhere in the world. Above all, the Carlsson name stands for elegant and exceptional design, high-torque engines and innovative German quality engineering for Mercedes cars. The new Vredestein concept focuses on ultra-high performance tyres aimed at the high end of the exclusive car market. A special niche market for owners of luxury, sporty cars, keen to drive their vehicles of choice using stylish tyres and rims, all year round. Which makes Carlsson and Vredestein a top class combination. We will be joining forces at salons, and working together in press-related activities and advertising efforts. The company name honours Swedish rally driver Ingvar Carlsson, who made motor-racing history as part of the Mercedes Rally Team. The company was founded in 1989 by brothers Rolf and Andreas Hartge who set up shop in a historical manor house that was built over 200 years, which they went on to convert into an exclusive workshop for the star-emblem cars.
